Peter Cresse, President of Entropy, Inc.

An internationally experienced sales and marketing executive, Peter’s career extends across major technology and system areas from media distribution to satellite communications to U.S. government programs. As an executive at major Fortune 500 firms such as GE, GTE, Scientific-Atlanta and Intelsat, Peter served in broad-ranging sales, marketing and executive leadership assignments. In addition, he established international sales offices in Frankfurt, London and Tokyo. Living over seven years overseas, he represented diverse products in the area of video, internet, media, data, and satellite communication systems.

In the media area, Peter served as Vice President of Marketing and later, Worldwide Sales for the Media Networks Division of Scientific-Atlanta. He led teams in the distribution of the PowerVu product line, a secure video distribution platform serving both enterprise and commercial networks. As Senior Director of Strategy and Marketing at Intelsat, he helped form the new Media & Entertainment Business Unit, a major growth initiative in the area of media distribution. At GE and GTE, Peter served in international assignments in sales and marketing for Japan and Europe respectively. As a Captain in the U.S. Air Force, Peter served in the area of secure military satellite, intelligence and technology projects.

As President of Entropy, Inc., Peter has established a consultant practice that serves clients across the fields of media, government and international markets. Entropy has offices in both Atlanta and the Washington DC areas.
